went to nagoya, japan with the family for a holiday. and also to visit my parents' friends with whom we stayed with in their small but big house (big by japanese standards). the house was nice. sis n i even got a room to ourselves since my parents' friends don't have any kids, thus lots of room to spare. on the whole, we didn't really visit all the tourist spots nor bought any souveniers. just loads n loads of food...snacks mostly...like my favourite pretz n pocky sticks (there's this black sesame pocky stick flavour which probably should never have been made into a flavour in the first place cause it sucks bad). basically lived the japanese life, if u get what i mean. got round the city on trains, ate in little shops that r only found in japan, went to a japanese jusco..etc etc. spent a day walking round town looking for sister's crazy johnny colectibles (u don't wanna know). it was freaking cold so u can imagine how we all felt by the end of the day. other than that, went to a public farm where sis screamed like n banshee cause a cow tried to lick her hand, an amusement park which probably has one of the world's tallest roller coasters, 7 different types of convinience stores, one of which sells bloody good ice cream (or soft cream as they call it), an orange orchard, one temple where my bros spent most of their time feeding hundreds of pigeons, a traditional tea house to which we got by climbing what felt like a mountain as it was in the middle of this enormous park, and finally to nukata to visit my sister's host family. best part bout japan? either the tiny-ass restaurants or the automatic toilet bowls. no, the tiny-ass restaurants did not lead to the automatic toilet bowls. oh, n nukata was great. even better than when i was there 2 yrs ago.

ps: gawd, i write like a jackass now. blame it on a whole year of not needing to write any creative essays.
pps: the pics took forever to load. now i'm lazy to write bout sarawak. it'll have to wait till i get everyone's photos, that is, when college starts off again on tuesday.
