today i made japanese curry with the help of my maid
pretty simple...cut up potatoes, carrots, onions, chicken n throw them all into the wok then add curry cubes that u buy from the japanese section in jusco
turned out goooooood :)
then after i took HORRIBLE passport photos, i had to bake to destress
or rather it was just an urge to bake (becoming so domesticated what with the amount of time i spend sitting at home doing nth =/)
so i made chocolate marble muffins
got the recipe from some food blog (yochana i think? thanks so much)
i took bout an hr to make the batter for 35 muffins (went a wee bit overboard)
and all 35 came out looking bloody pretty (to me la.....though i think they'd have looked better if i used chocolate chips instead of chocolate chunks but i ran out of the former n smashing choc bars to get the latter was fun too)
n of corse they tasted super good
