It's a miracle we all made it home today!

The wind was (how do u gage how windy it is) prolly 6 on a 1-10 scale (10 being a mini tornado). i was trying to walk hoho to class and we couldn't. at one point both of us were pinned to the wall and swallowing mouthfuls of dust/leaves/wood chips. and crashed into each other.

i actually flew. (may did too). and a tree fell right in front of hoho and me on the way to her histology lab.

buildings were evacuated (i dunno why i reckon it's safer INSIDE than out) and ppl took shelter against windbreakers (i.e. WALLS).

yesterday i made sweet and sour chikin!! turned out pretty well >) I heart hoho's recipe book.

P/s: Owh i found out why the building was evacuated adi (hoho said she saw firetrucks) Cos that particular building actually shakes. If you're at the top floor, you can feel the vibrations. They added a south wing to stabilize the whole structure because it was originally only composed of an east and west wing. So it's like a huge TALL rectangle. Which is quite stupid based on nothing but common sense. Cos the length of the building is so long and the width is so short, obviouslyyy it wudn't be safe. And it was apparently reaching 130 km/h this afternoon. whoo. drama drama. i made it to kendo safe though. though wet. and late. and had president as my partner this time. nervous sial. luckily he sho nice.
