We went out to the city today cos' (clayton is a kampung and we kl people so we miss our tall tall building) wanted to see may and justin and the rest of the kl peeps.
Had a lot of fun walking about and being lost tourists although the sun was fucking killer wei. I swear, it was as hot as Malaysia today but the sun here is extra glaring for some reason. Hoey is as red as a tomato now.

View from the Flinder's Street station where we get off. There's St. Paul's cathedral on the left, Federation Square across the street and the trams.

The mechanical man. He's dam funny. And his song is dam addictive. And the groupies watching. I dunno what are they wearing. Aussie's version of lalachais. Hoey says maybe they need them for identification. Like, when they walk walk walk then they go, "Shit! Where's pink?!"
We met up with May and visited St. Paul's cathedral. It's seriously damned pretty. I lit a candle, praying for hope and forgiveness for the Stolen Generation of Australia -cos the govn took away the aboriginal children decades ago in the 60s. A few days ago, the PM made an official apology to them.

Pony carriage rides

hoey's face is literally X)

Then, we hopped onto the free tourist bus (haha!) to go to the Royal Botanical Gardens and Melbourne's equivalent of our Tugu Negara cos' May wanted to go. So we layaned.

Service medals. Sho cool. The place was pretty awesome, most of it were items from WWI and WWII. you have like a bundle of unsent letters meant for loved ones, cards made from like bandages and gauzes that were never delivered, pretty somber stuff. and quotes like "Lest we forget". Brr.
Then at around 5, we travelled back to Federation Square to meet up with Hanyet, Justin and the others. There was this Sustainable Living festival going on there.

Solar-powered things that move.

After that, a friend of a friend, Alvin, took us to the Treasury Gardens because Osaka festival was going on there. They were giving out HELIUM balloons man! XD

My second balloon in a week. Teehee.

Baby with balloon tied to his feet. He was so cute! Hoey took this picture after Steve asked the parents permission. After permission was granted, he was mobbed.

Chilling in the park

Wishing trees. You write your wish on a card and hang it on the branches.

My wish X)

I found these wishes on one branch that was fucking funny. The top one says, "I wish to find love" and someone hanged his wish right next to it that said "Me too!"
There was one that said "I wish I could be in Australia forever! England stinks!"

Sampats

This is wear both of hanyet's balloon burst and Steve decided to use the strings as a leash.

Then we decided she should have two owners

Cute mixed Japanese family. I scared the boy cry so i didn't dare go near. cos the one may was next to, he emoed. LOL. see his face? so upset.
After that we went to makan korean bbq. wa so yummy. and got served by this korean drama tv-actor lookalike. seriously. hawtstuff. I think we don't really spend a lot on food in this country cos their portions are blardee huge and hoey and i always share. sometimes may shares with us too. so like average like 5 to 10 ringgit. i can spend more back home.
The 3 unnecessary things we spent on today = darell lea's honeycomb chocolate for 5.45 aus, KRISPY KREME DONUTS (OMYGOD SO YUMMY), and gelato(OMYGOD SO YUMMY). both aso amnesia as to how much. haha.
oklah dah. tired.
