day three at rob pike's research lab.. i've sort of been thrown into this whole thing headfirst. they assigned me to set up enzymatic assays, as in figure out experiment designs on my own and then configure it, run it to see whether it works, and if my experiment fails, i have to tweak my design again and rerun the experiment.

this really nice lady (her name is unspellable to the ear) teaches me lots of new stuff and she keeps telling me how smart i am which is really good for the ego XD actually, i was just bored cos' sometimes there's really nothing to do so i go on the net and i can't exactly surf so i read up abit about some stuff i'm not too sure about. which came in really really handy today cos' lakshmi my supervisor asked me some killa questions which i happened to have just read so i managed to answer her on the spot. yay.

there's another post doc researcher that likes to chat with me after 4 o clock, and she's really really helpful and really nice as well.

im liking this. and liking getting paid for doing this.
