yeah i realised its a bit late. but its only been 5 days :P

so following the tradition bloggers do when its a new year,

1. reminisce about the previous year.

ok, to sum it all up, 2008 has been...interesting. starting biomed in monash clayton, learning to live by myself (+ bunny, may & mia) without parents around to babysit us in a house of our own (kinda), learning how to experiment during dinner preparations, how to clean toilet bowls as fast as possible while also actually CLEANING it, how to get ard a new city using public transport...also starting to make friends with people of different cultures and backgrounds (which was a HUGE step for me) and throwing myself into a sport which looks utterly ridiculous to people who've not seen it before and enjoying being beat up 2-3 times a week, to name a few things. fine not a few but ppl always end lists like this. and then theres the trent thing which i and probably all of u consider to be "highlight" of my life last yr and which also made life in melb considerably better 2nd semester onwards (i smile whenever i remember that one time during lunch when may n i just complained about everything for 30 mins to an hr...oh how we've stopped complaining now. lol.). all this i think has pushed me to becoming a person whos...different, if not better. mentally ive grown (sadly am physically wider too) in a way that i can say my thinking now is not what it was this time, a year ago. and im pretty sure that it shows in my personality, how aspects of it have changed in teeny little ways (at least id like to think so).

through the ppl i've lived with and met last year and the events that have happened, ive come to realise that some things which mightve seemed such a huge deal when i was for example, 16, are so....miniscule in actual fact, and that sometimes keeping your thoughts to yourself isint exactly THE best solution to a problem. ive also learnt that you can never get anything worthwhile without putting in effort, be it a little or a lot, and that acquiring and USING the ability to compromise goes a loooooong way. so yeah, before this gets any cornier plus less coherent, id like to thank....nah kidding. id just like to say that i hope everyone who reads this (if more than 1 person does) had as awesome and exciting and memorable year as ive had. and yeah, i cant end without saying thank you to the 3 whom i went home to everyday (or almost everyday haha) and who were always there for me even if i did take ages to get ready in the morning :P i only can hope n pray that this year it'll be as "senang" living with the next 3 ppl id be sharing the house with.

2. have a list of new year's resolutions

i dont have any REAL resolutions, just the usual manage my time properly, spend more time talking to the ppl who matter, get healthier? and most importantly, grow up a little bit more.
